It has been a few months since Connor Angel, a suspect in a murder investigation, revealed the existence of demons and magic to the entire world. He and his best friend Gabriella Heron disappeared shortly thereafter and have not been seen since. The revelation created a worldwide hysteria as the general populace became paranoid towards the creatures that had been living in their midst for centuries. The world's governments have been forced into hasty meetings to put together new legislation to control the increasing tensions between humans and demons that has lead to outbreaks of violence and killing from both sides.
